The best design of the Valencian Community of the last three years is collected in the exhibition ‘ADCV Awards 2022’ / ‘ADCV Design Awards’, which can be visited at the innovation center Las Naves until September 23.
The exhibition brings together the award-winning works in the VI edition of the ADCV Awards, all of them made or disseminated by studios, professionals, students or design teams of companies in the Valencian Community between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2021, in the categories of graphic, digital, space and product design.
In total, Gold and Silver awards were presented in 27 categories: 30 ‘golds’ -fifteen in graphic and digital design disciplines; twelve in product, and three in space- and 26 ‘silvers’ -fourteen in graphic and digital design; eight in product, and four in space-.
The list of winners is completed with eight ‘Positive Impact Awards’, to those designs that contribute, in a particularly outstanding way, to the improvement of society and the environment. Specifically, two in graphic design categories; one in space design, and five in product design.
The exhibition also gives visibility to some of the representative works of the ‘ADCV 2022 Honorary Awards’: the designer Paco Bascuñán Rams -postumously-, in the category of ‘Professional Career’, the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània, in ‘Entities’, and the furniture company Actiu, in ‘Innovation’.
The exhibition ‘ADCV Awards 2022’ / ‘ADCV Design Awards’ was included in the official program of the first edition of ‘The New European Bauhaus Festival’, among the ‘side events’ to be organized in different European countries.
